Arizona lightning claims 2 lives

Lightning in Arizona has claimed lives of two people and injured a teenage.

A lightning bolt hit a married couple and the boy at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the LeFevre Scenic Outlook, Arizona.

Injured boy is not associated with the dead couple.

According to the Encyclopedia of World Climatology, lightning happens about 40–50 times per second worldwide. Around 50 people are killed by lightning across the US each year.
