Volcano Yasur in Vanuatu region has been upgraded to alert level two.

Following the Department of Meteorology and Geohazards, Volcano Yasur in Vanuatu has shown increase in explosive activity in recent days.

People near Yasur volcano have been warned to take necessary precautions.

Nearby communities are also urged to cover their water tanks, ABC news mentions.

Falling of numerous ash and bombs are also predicted.

The Department of Meteorology and Geohazards is closely monitoring the volcano Yasur in Vanuatu.

Mount Yasur is an active volcano on Tanna Island, Vanuatu located on the coast near Sulphur Bay.
