  • Landslide in Sylhet, Bangladesh
    -Landslide in Sylhet, Bangladesh has killed three people and injured 10 others.
    -Injured people are having treatment at MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital in Sylhet. 
  • Landslide in Jammu and Kashmir, India
    -Landslide in Kudpora Waghama, in Bijbehara area has killed a 15 years old girl.
    -Other two people are having treatment in the hospital.
    Update
    -Another landslide tragedy in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir has killed two Army jawans.


Recent Earthquakes 
  • M 4.3 light shallow earthquake in Iraq (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 28 km ENE of Qada' Talkif. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Qada' al Hamdaniyah, Mosul and Sinah.

  • M 3.4 light shallow earthquake in Southern California (@ 12 km depth) with epicenter located 19 km ESE from Anza. It will have well felt by the people of Los Angeles, Cathedral City, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage and Orange. Multiple earthquakes rocked Anza, Southern California yesterday.

  • M 5.6 strong harmless earthquake in Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia (@ 15 km depth) with epicenter located 53 km WNW of Il'pyrskiy (Serbia). People of Ossora will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.03:12 UTC (local time Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 03:12:53 PM @ epicenter)

  • Mudslide in Heilongjiang, China
    -At least eight miners are trapped in a mudslide in Zhenxing coalmine in Heilongjiang province of Northeast China.
    -China mine disasters are the deadliest in the world.
  • Thunderstorm in Kulim, Malaysia has damaged around 30 houses.
  • Traffic along Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit has been closed by Idaho Transportation Department due to avalanche. 
  • Great Lakes in Australia has been declared a flood disaster zone. Natural disaster recovery assistance will now include Gloucester, Great Lakes, Shoalhaven, Upper Hunter and Walcha area.
