Tremor was well felt in Guwahati, Jorhat, Mangaldai (Assam), Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya of India and as far as Dhaka, Bangladesh.

People of Imphal, Thoubal, Yairipok, Kohima, Mayang Imphal, Phek and Dimapur will have felt light shaking of MMI IV. Weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Jorhat, Diphu, Sibsagar and Itanagar.

Earthquake occurred at 47 miles depth. According to USGS Pager Map, around 2,951,000 people will have felt light shaking of MMI IV.
