Magnitude 5.4 Iran earthquake felt in Dubai today

October 21, 2019:  Tremor has been felt in Dubai after magnitude 5.4 earthquake in Southern Iran. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred at 10km depth. M 5.1 moderate earthquake in Iran today shakes buildings in Dubai, officials at UAE’s National Center of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS) confirmed. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 156 km northeast of Dubai and 273 km northeast of Abu Dhabi. It was 6.2 miles deep. Many buildings were evacuated in Dubai. Iranian earthquake felt in Dubai, Baharain and Qatar

Magnitude 6.3 Iranian earthquake has been felt in neighbouring GCC countries including Bahrain, Qatar and parts of Saudi Arabia. Several buildings in Dubai were evacuated, but no one was injured in these countries. Following UAE's National Center Of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), tremors were felt in the Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The epicenter of the earthquake was located about 280 km in the north of Manama, Bahrain and 500 km in the north-west of Abu Dhabi.
