September 23, 2021: A small earthquake of magnitude 2.7 has been recorded in Carson today at 7:58 p.m., the United States Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed.
The earthquake occurred at 4.6 km depth.
The tremor was felt by the people of Torrance, Long Beach, Gardena, Harbor City, Compton, Lomita, Wilmington, Lawndale and Redondo Beach.
