Indonesia: Tornado in Sumatra Islands kills 2, damages 245 homes

May 21, 2020: A rare tornado ripped through several villages on Indonesia’s Sumatra island, killing at least two people and damaging around 245 homes.

The tornado touched down in Lampung province’s Tulang Bawang district, the National Disaster Mitigation Agency said.
