A: The national institute of disaster management (राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन संस्थान in Hindi) is located in Delhi, India. National Institute of Disaster Management was established in 1995 with a motto of Resilient India- Disaster free India (आपदा प्रतिरोधी भारत - आपदा मुक्त भारत).

It was formerly called National Centre for Disaster Management and was upgraded to present status on 16 October 2003.
