Israel: Fooding in Tel Aviv kills 2

January 4, 2020: Two people have been killed after flooding in the basement level of a residential building in the south of Tel Aviv, Israel.

Around 3 inches of rain fell in Tel Aviv over the course of a two-hour period.

According to the Israel's emergency agency, rescue crews had to use scuba gear to reach the elevator in a basement and pulled out but they died shortly after arriving at a hospital.

The elevator was stuck due to the power outage.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue Sunday.
