Two earthquake tremors felt in Delhi, NCR

June 2, 2017: Two earthquakes hit Haryana on Friday morning, tremors of which were felt in Delhi and adjoining areas of the National Capital Region (NCR).

According to the India Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the first earthquake of magnitude 5.0 on the Richter Scale was located in Rohtak district in Haryana.

The tremor was felt at 04:25 am morning and occurred at a depth of 22 km.

It was followed by another magnitude 3.2 earthquake at 08:13 am.

No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
