Two light earthquakes of 4.2 and 3.3 rocked the Larnaca area of Cyprus at 3:18 and 5.16 am respectively.
According to the Cyprus Geological Survey, the first quake was of magnitude 4.2 with epicenter located 13 km W of Larnaka. It occurred at 9.68 km depth.
Another earthquake was of magnitude 3.3 with epicenter located 10 km W of Larnaka. It occurred at a depth of 6.01 km.
Tremors were felt in Kiti, Dromolaxia, Aradippou, Larnaca and Nicosia area.
No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
