  • Avalanche at Siachen Glacier, Jammu and Kashmir
    -Aleast 10 soldiers have been missing after an avalanche struck the Siachen Glacier in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The avalanche occurred near the de facto border with Pakistan.

  • Multiple tornadoes in Mississippi and Alabama
    -Atleast nine tornadoes ripped across parts of eastern Mississippi and western Alabama Tuesday.
    -A tornado damaged homes, church and community college in Mississippi.
    -More than 14,000 Alabama Power customers were without power, mostly in Birmingham.
  • Wildfire in Texas, USA
    -Fire fighters have been responding to a blaze near the town of Martha.
    -No structural damage or injuries have been reported.

  • M 5.2 moderate earthquake in Indonesia (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 11 km N of Kupang. Weak tremor will have been felt by the people of Kupang, Soe and Kefamenanu.

  • Flooding in Asheville, North Carolina
    -A dozen of roads in Asheville have been closed due to high water during the storm.
