  • Powerful waves in Sydney’s Royal National Park, Australia
    -More than 100 people have been injured, three of them seriously, after powerful waves hit Figure Eight rock pools in Sydney’s Royal National Park.
    -An Ambulance NSW helicopter and Westpac Lifesaver helicopter airlifted three women to hospital.
  • Hailstorm in Krugersdorp, South Africa
    -At least five people have been injured after hailstorm collapsed a section of the roof at Key West Shopping Centre in Krugersdorp, west of Gauteng, South Africa Saturday afternoon.

  • Tornado in Lee County, United States
    -A tornado touched down in the Cape Coral area of Lee County, Florida Saturday evening.
    -The National Weather Service officials have given the tornado a preliminary rating of EF2, with winds of 111-135 mph.

NEPAL: Magnitude 6.0 strong earthquake in Khotang damages house

However, no injuries or fatalities have been reported till now. July 31, 2022: Magnitude 6.0 strong earthquake has been recorded in Khotang district of eastern Nepal at 08:13 am (02:28 UTC) Sunday morning at a shallow depth of 10 km.
