  • People across New Jersey and parts of New York and Connecticut felt multiple tremors on Thursday afternoon which were actually sonic booms caused by the testing of a fighter jet. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), at least  nine sonic booms were recorded over the course of an hour and a half.
