The quake's epicenter was located 75 km E of Kathmandu. It was 6.2 miles deep.

The epicenter was located near Bhimsen temple out of Langtang National Park.

Meanwhile, humanitarian agencies are unable to deliver aid to earthquake victims due to India-Nepal border blockade since 45 days. Food and other necessities have not been supplied to survivors of Nepal earthquake victims.

Blockades along the border between Nepal and India have caused fuel shortages. Helicopters operating for the World Food Programme have also been grounded.
