Aftershock recorded at Lalitpur/Makawanapur border region

Magnitude 4.2 aftershock has been recorded in Lalitpur/Makawanapur border region at 09:35 am Saturday morning, Nepal Seismological Center reported.

The epicenter was located near Thingen, South East of Bhimphedi, Makwanpur.

At 09:24 am, an aftershock of magnitude 4.2 was recorded in Sindhupalchowk.

At least seven aftershocks have been recorded today as of 10:00 am local time. Earlier, magnitude less than four aftershocks were recorded in Gorkha, Nuwakot and Dolakha.

According to Nepal Seismological Center, April 25 Gorkha Earthquake is followed by at least 227 numbers of aftershocks with local magnitude greater or equal to four.
