    -Tropical Cyclone Bejisa has claimed life of a person and injured at least 15 others in French Indian Ocean island of Reunion.

    -Tropical Cyclone Bejisa has claimed life of a person and injured at least 15 others in French Indian Ocean island of Reunion.

Typhoon Kompasu kills 11 in Philippines

October 12, 2021: Typhoon Kompasu (called "Maring" in Philippines) has claimed lives of eleven people and left seven others missing in Philippines . More than 6,500 villagers have been evacuated from flood affected areas. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), fatalities have been reported from Benguet, Cagayan and Palawan province. The Philippines' National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) was on ALERT STATUS RED since the start of the natural disaster . According to the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD), Kompasu will make landfall in upper Vietnam on Wednesday or Thursday. Heavy rain is expected in Mukdahan, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon and Bueng Kan provinces in Thailand.
