-The city hall is reporting 4,000 fatalities now. However the NDRRMC has placed the death toll at 2,360, with 3,853 others reported injured and 77 missing.
-The NDRRMC said Yolanda destroyed 136,247 houses and damaged 117,802 others.
-Following Philippine Energy Official, it will take six weeks to restore power to typhoon zone.

-As of 07:00 PM, 10 November 2013, NDRCC is reporting 229 fatalities, 45 injured and 28 still missing.
-A total of PhP138,552,546.55 worth of damages to infrastructure and agriculture has been reported.
-Around 600,000 people have been evacuated in Vietnam.Typhoon Haiyan new path predicts it to make landfall south of Hanoi on Monday morning local time.
-At least six people on board a cargo vessel have been missing in Hainan province of China, Xinhua reported. More than 200 flights at Hainan's airports have been cancelled or delayed.

-There are varying estimates of the number of fatalities, including at least 1,200 according to the Philippines Red Cross. However, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council is reporting 151 fatalities, 23 injured and five others missing.

-New Zealand and Australia have donated an immediate US$490,000 towards relief efforts in the typhoon-ravaged Philippines. More disaster relief materials are coming in. A large UN Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) team has been deployed in the disaster area.
-The storm is predicted to hit central Vietnam and the port city of Da Nang today. More than 2,00,000 people have evacuated to shelters.
-Similarly, a level three emergency response has been issued in China to prevent damage from the approaching Typhoon Haiyan,the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters said.

-CNN is reporting more than 100 bodies in streets of Tacloban quoting the aviation authority official.
-According to the Philippine Coast Guard, around 3,398 people are stranded on multiple watercraft.
-Typhoon Haiyan is believed to be 3.5 times more forceful than Hurricane Katrina.

GMA, Philippines based news network is reporting at least 56 fatalities. Fatalities are from Tacloban City and Palo town in Leyte.
Two towns in Iloilo province have declared a state of calamity due to damages caused by Typhoon Haiyan.
As of 12 a.m. Saturday (Philippines time), the center of Haiyan was located 100 kms west-northwest of Coron, Palawan moving west-northwest at 35 kph. Typhoon Haiyan is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility around 2 p.m. Saturday.

-According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, death toll from Haiyan has risen to three. Fatalities are from Masbate and Zamboanga City. Typhoon also injured seven people, six in Guimaras and one in Zamboanga City.
-The China National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center (NMEFC) has issued a yellow warning for very high seas and monster waves.
-Haiyan is the 30th and strongest typhoon to hit China this year. It is expected to enter the South China Sea in two days, Xinhua reported.

Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno has suspended work in Metro Manila courts. The suspension order covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Sandiganbayan and the lower courts, Inquirer News reported.

Super Typhoon Haiyan has already made third landfall on Friday morning over the northern tip of Cebu province. According to PAGASA, Haiyan will make a fourth landfall over Negros Occidental. PAGASA expects Haiyan to hit land six times as it crosses islands.

-According to the Philippine Coast Guard, there are 2,995 stranded passengers at various ports due to Typhoon Yolanda.
