4 killed in flooding in Bagh, Chitral, 2 missing

Flash flooding in Bagh and Chitral region of Pakistan have claimed lives of at least four people and left two missing.

Flash floods washed away a car in Bagh district in Azad Kashmir claiming lives of three people while another person was found dead in nearby village, Dunya News reported.

At least two people are reported missing in flood waters in Hajeera near Rawlakot.

Flash floods triggered by a heavy rainfall have washed away about 45 houses in Chitral. Flood damage has been reported from around 150 houses.

Flood water has also washed away a bridge between Chitral and Boni.

Recent floods have affected people in Bagh, Rawlakot, Chitral and Sibbi region of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to local officials in providing disaster relief to the flood-hit people in Chitral.
