Sinkhole in Chicago injures 1, swallows 3 cars

Sinkhole in Chicago today morning has injured one person. Chicago sinkhole has also swallowed three cars in the South Deering neighborhood on the Southeast Side, Chicago Tribune mentions.

According to Chicago Fire Department, injured person is having treatment at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Heavy rain and flooding opened large sinkhole in Chicago. Sinkhole started to open around 5:15 a.m. at 96th and Houston in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood.

Sinkhole in Chicago is believed to be 40 feet wide.

Street is currently closed to traffic.

Several roads are reported to be flooded in Chicago. A flood emergency has been declared for Cook and DuPage Counties in Illinois, including Chicago.

  1. All the new cars of the world are coming with built in navigation system and that is why they are fuel sufficient. Your car can also be a fuel sufficient if it has Factory Navigation System.
