Cascade mountains avalanche east of Seattle, Washington state injures 3, one missing

One person is found alive beneath the snow. Now the missing number is one. At least three people are reported to be injured in avalanches near Snoqualmie Pass.

At least two people are reported to be missing in two separate avalanche disaster in Cascade mountains in Washington state.

Avalanches occurred near Snoqualmie Pass east of Seattle, KOMO-TV reports.

Initial reports said three were missing but officials later changed the missing number to two.

One avalanche occurred off Exit 47 from Interstate 90 and another near the Alpental Ski Area off I-90.

Avalanches occurred due to heavy snowfall in the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle.
