  • Storm in Sao Paulo, Brazil
    -Heavy storm in Sao Paulo, the largest city in Brazil has killed two including a 14-year-old girl.
    -Storm also damaged the shopping continental mall in the Jaguare district but luckily no body was injured. Click for detail report on Sao Paulo storm.
  • Sinkhole in Pennsylvania
    -A 30 feet wide by 12 feet deep sinkhole has opened in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
    -Sinkhole damaged house. Homeowners in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania have been evacuated.
    -Around 30 houses were evacuated due to sinkhole in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in January 2013.

  • M 4.5 moderate earthquake in Greece (@ 8 km depth) with epicenter located just 6 km WSW of Fitiai. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Agrinion, Mesolongi and Mesolongion. 21:27 UTC (local time Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:27 PM @ epicenter)

  • M 4.7 moderate earthquake in Southern California (@ 0.1 km depth) with epicenter located 19 km ESE from Anza. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Vista Santa Rosa and Oasis. People of Aguanga, Thermal, La Quinta, Desert Shores, Moreno Valley, San Bernardino, San Diego, Riverside and Fontana will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.   • M 4.9 moderate earthquake in Iraq (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 33 km ENE of Qada' Talkif. It will have well felt by the people of Bashiqa, Irbīl, Orumiyeh and Mosul.

    -As of 04:00 UTC, TC Sandra was located 350 nm northwest of Noumea, New Caledonia.
    -A new cyclone warning has been issued for northern islands of New Caledonia.

  • Heavy storm in Ashanti, Ghana
    -Heavy storm has affected the people in Kodie, Mpobi, Ahenkro, Ahenkro- Kwamang and Ankaase area of Ghana.
    -Storm has also damaged the building of Kodie Junior High School.
  • Today is the second anniversary of Japan earthquake which created Tsunami and nuclear catastrophe. The 2011 Japanese earthquake was so powerful that its effects were even felt by an orbiting satellite nearly 270km above the Earth.
