- Flooding in Republic of Congo
-Thirteen killed in Republic of Congo floods. Floods destroyed several houses in southern Brazzaville.
-Following Red Cross official atleast 13 bodies have been recovered. Laurel Kihounzou, mayor of the southern Brazzaville district of Makelekele said at least 26 people were injured.
-Floods destroyed several houses after a river in the Makelekele bursts its bank.
-Around 600 people are currently lving in emergency shelters.
-Tens of thousands of people were severely affected by flooding in northern Congo-Brazzaville as the Congo River bursts its banks in November 1999 (Photo: Flooding in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, 2007, AFP).

23:48 UTC (Local time Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 08:28:04 AM @ epicenter) - M 5.1 modeate earthquake in Vanuatu with epicenter located 149 km SSW of Port-Vila. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of We, Dumbea and Paita (New Caledonia).
23:16 UTC (local time Wednesday, December 12, 2012; 12/12/2012 at 10:16 AM @ epicenter)
- M 4.4 light earthquake in Taiwan (@ 27 km depth) with epicenter located just 6 km ENE of Hualian. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Su'ao, Buli and Yilan.
10:32 UTC (local time Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 06:32 PM @ epicenter) - M 5.8 strong sea quake in Molucca Sea (@ 30 km depth) with epicenter located 126 km W of Kota Ternate. People of Ternate, Tondano, Bitung, Laikit, Laikit II (Dimembe), Tomohon, Manado and Tobelo.
06:18 UTC (local time Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 03:18 PM @ epicenter) - M 4.8 moderate earthquake in Owen Fracture Zone Region (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 315 km NE of Tamrida. Just a weak shaking will have felt by the people of Salalah (Oman).
05:37 UTC (local time Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 09:37 AM @ epicenter) - M 5.1 moderate earthquake in Northern Yukon Territory, Canada with epicenter located 101 km NW of Fort McPherson. It will have faintly felt in coastal area.

- Flooding in Durban, South Africa
-Seven people are reported to be missing in flooding in the Umzinto River, near Durban.
-Three people were rescued from iFafa Club Marina Resort, south of Umzinto. Other nine homeless people were also rescued from the flooded Umbilo River in Durban today morning.

-EF1 tornado touched down in Baker. Tornado destroyed several buildings in Ascension Parish.
-A tornado with maximum winds estimated at 90 mph hit Birmingham, Alabama.
-Strong wind damaged 40 houses near Edgewater, Volusia County (Florida) between Edgewater and Oak Hill.
