  • Landslide in Zamfara, Nigeria
    -Nine killed in landslide disaster in Dogon Daji village of Ruwan Dorawa, Maru local government area of Nigeria.
    -Tragedy occurred when the miners were allegedly digging up gold at the mining sites, near to Dogon Daji Village.
    -Rescue team only reached the disaster area after nine hours. Just one person was pulled alive and was rushed to the hospital in Maru.

    -Flash flood has affected more than 17,000 people in Orientale province in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo).
  • Flood warning in Lebanon
    -Severe weather, strong storm along with flash flood forecast to hit Lebanon this week.
    -The ocean is expected to rise 3 meters high and cause floods .
