Following felt report received by USGS, weak shaking of MMI II-III was felt across Los Angeles. Tremor was well felt in Acton, Simi Valley, Valley Village, Studio City, North Hollywood, Burbank, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Panorama City, Canyon Country, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia, Granada Hills, Sylmar, Porter Ranch, Northridge, Newhall and West Hollywood.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was locate 8 km SSE from Santa Clarita.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
