An earthquake with a magnitude between 3.2 and 3.5 on the Richter scale occurred on Wednesday evening in the Alpes de Haute-Provence of France.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located just 4 km S Volx. It was well felt by the people of Manosque and Aix-en-provence.
It is the eighth major earthquake in the region in a year.

This is what TFI news mentions:
"L'épicentre de ce tremblement de terre modéré qui s'est produit mercredi soir se trouvait dans les environs de Volx, au nord-est de Manosque. C'est le 8e séisme important dans la région en un an"


The 14 August 1708 Manosque earthquake occurred along the Durance fault, southern France which killed 900 people. Earthquake caused $1 to $5 million in damage.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
