M 4.4 light earthquake shakes Denmark this Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 51 km SW of Falkenberg, Sweden. It was 3.6 miles deep.

The 2008 Skane County earthquake was widely felt in Sweden from Skåne to Östergötland, in Denmark, and in northern Poland.
Powerful earthquakes are very rare in Sweden and Denmark.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
