• Deadly Cyclone "Giovanna" In Madagascar (Daily Update)
  -16 killed with 75-95% destruction reported In Brickaville and Vatomandry region of Madagascar
  -65 injured and 11,000 homeless-Some bridges and roads especially between the district of Toamasina and the Capital Antananarivo
  -Most government buildings have been completely destroyed

• M 5.3 moderate earthquake in Western Xizang (@ 43 km depth) with epicenter located 116 km W of Lumaringbo, Xizang (Tibet), China. It will have faintly felt as far as Jumla, Nepal.

• M 4.6 moderate shallow earthquake in Eastern Turkey (@ 27 km depth) with epicenter located 32 km NW Van. The epicenter is very close to lake Van. It will have well felt in Van and Ercis region. It is the same area where earlier M 7.2 very strong earthquake in Turkey took 605+ lives

• M 4.3 moderate shallow earthquake in Southern Greece (@ 17 km depth) with epicenter located below Loutrá oraías elénis (Kórinthos). Piraieús is the nearest populated area where it will have felt well. The epicenter is 11 Km SE from Corinth.

  Weak shaking was felt in Athens, Greece too. Preliminary reports shows light tremor to be felt within 100 km radius

• M 4.5 moderate shallow earthquake in Sulawesi, Indonesia (@ 19 km depth) with epicenter located 152 km (94 miles) WNW of Palopo, Sulawesi, Indonesia. Weak shaking will have felt in Coastal area

  -A Webcam on the coastal plain reported seeing active lava at the top of the pali last night
