  -33 died due to tropical storm THANE in Cuddalore district and adjacent Union Territory of Puducherry of India
  -Cuddalore, Tiruvallur and Villupuram districts worst hit by Thane
  -More than 5000 houses of fishermen damaged by storm
  -Kalpakkam atomic power plants not affected by storm Thane
  -Rs 150 crore for immediate relief works in Tamilnadu
  -Disrupted rail and air services too

People of Churchill, Youngstown, Girard and McDonald will have felt moderate shaking. Light shaking will be experienced in Boardman and Austintown area of Ohio.
