Mud crater explosion in Sicily kills a girl

Mud crater explosion in Sicily has claimed life of a seven-year-old girl. The girl, her brother and father were buried in mud and sediment when one of the craters exploded in western Sicily. The nine-year-old boy is missing while the father is being treated at a hospital, The Times of Malta reported.

Federal Emergency Management Agency: US Emergency management agencies receive more than $1.6 M grants

According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), emergency management agencies in five states of United States have been awarded more than $1.6 million in preparedness grants. Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas have received the FEMA Preparedness Grants, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) said in its news release on September 25, 2014.
