Indonesia: Flash floods, landslides in Sulawesi kill 4

April 6, 2020: Flash floods and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall have claimed lives of four people in two districts of Tana Toraja regency in South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

According to the Tana Toraja Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), three people died in South Makale district and one in Rantetayo district.

The landslide has washed away several roads including the main road connecting Tana Toraja regency and North Toraja regency.
