Floods, mudslides in Japan kill 10

October 26, 2019: Floods and mudslides caused by heavy rainfall have claimed lives of at least 10 people in Japan.

Nine people died in Chiba and one dies in Fukushima.

Few weeks earlier, Typhoon Hagbis in Japan left almost 80 dead and caused widespread damage. Typhoon Hagibis is the most devastating typhoon to hit the Kantō region of Japan since Typhoon Ida in 1958.
