June 18, 2019: Twelve people have been died and 125 others have been injured after a 6.0 magnitude rattled hit Changning County of Yibin, China at 10:55 p.m. Monday (Beijing Time), Xinhua reported.

According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the area was hit by a series of at least four aftershocks, the largest of which had a magnitude of 5.1.

An early warning alarm system was triggered in the provincial capital Chengdu about one minute before the earthquake struck, Xinhua said.
