Flash flooding in western Farah province of Afghanistan kills 7

February 14, 2019: Flash flooding caused by heavy rains killed at least seven people and displaced more than 800 families in western Farah province of Afghanistan.

According to the Pajhwok Afghan News, the flooding was followed by heavy rainfall and snowfall on Wednesday.

Around 80 houses were swept away in the flash flood in Anzeer area of Afghanistan, displacing 800 families. Fatalities included two children and two women.
