Flooding and tornadoes kill 8 in Missouri, Arkansas, Texas

April 30, 2017: At  least eight people died due to flooding and tornadoes in Missouri, Arkansas and Texas over the weekend.

Three tornadoes struck Texas east of Dallas claiming lives of five people.

Floodwaters washed away a 72-year-old woman whose body was recovered in southwestern Missouri. Another woman died after a tree fell on her mobile home in De Witt, Arkansas, about 80 miles east of Little Rock.

According to The Weather Channel, 18-year-old man drowned after his vehicle entered a flooded area west of Crocker, Missouri, about 150 miles southwest of St. Louis.
