The U.S. Small Business Administration loans are available to homeowners, renters, business owners and nonprofits in and around Appomattox and Essex counties.
Homeowners can apply for loans up to $200,000 to repair and restore their homes.
Businesses are eligible for $2 million in loans to repair or replace damaged property or to use as capital, Insurance Journal reported.
