  • Flooding and landslide in Jayapura, Indonesia
    -Flooding and landslide in Jayapura, Indonesia has claimed lives of at least 11 people and left two others missing, Xinhua reported quoting national disaster mitigation agency.
    -Three rivers burst their banks and caused flash flooding in the area. Flooding and landslides have left 15 houses badly damaged and 40 houses lightly damaged.

    -Landslide in the French Alps claimed lives of at least two people.

  • Hail storm, tornado in Canterbury, New Zealand
    -Hail storm and tornado that swept through Amberley in north Christchurch have damaged at least three houses.

    -The EF-0 tornado hit southern Maryland.
    -The tornado traveled from Compton in St. Mary's County to Cove Point in Calvert County.
    -No injuries have been reported.
  • Avalanche in Losar, Pakistan
    -An avalanche in Losar village of Pakistan has damaged a government primary school.
    -No injuries have been reported.

  • M 5.5 moderate earthquake in Indonesia (@ 46 km depth) with epicenter located 49km ESE of Palu.

    -Ice jams have caused flooding along Vermilion River in northeast Ohio
    .
    -A homeowner and dog have been rescued from the floodwater.
