    -Flooding in Andean Cusco region of Southern Peru has made 16,000 people homeless, Xinhua reported.
    -The Quillabamba River burst its banks following torrential downpours and caused flooding in the area.

    -Heavy rain caused flooding in Tacloban village of Philippines Thursday morning
