  • Storm in Bucharest, Romania
    -
    Heavy rain and strong storms in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania have injured at least 18 people.
    -Following the National Weather Institute, storm in Bucharest  reached 80 kilometres per hour.

  • Tornado in South Cotabato, Philippines
    -Tornado in South Cotabato, Philippines has affected 33 families, causing P500,000 damage, The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

  • M 5.5 very strong earthquake in Uzbekistan (@ 16 km depth) with epicenter located 9 km NNW of Buka. Strong shaking of MMI VI will have felt by the people of Buka and Piskent. Moderate shaking of MMI V will have felt by the people of Tuytepa, Amir Timur, Zafar and Yangiyul. People of Tashkent, Guliston, Khujand, Jizzax and Shymkent will have felt light to weak shaking.   • M 5.8 very strong harmless earthquake South of Tonga (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 323 km S of `Ohonua. It will have faintly felt in the coastal area.

  • M 8.3 massive earthquake in Sea of Okhotsk, Russia (@ 609 km depth) with epicenter located 362 km WSW of Esso. Russian emergency authorities issued a tsunami warning for Sakhalin and the Kurile islands but was lifted several minutes later. Tremors were also felt in Moscow, the capital city of Russia.
