    -A landslide in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province has claimed lives of three people, including two children.

    -As of 12:00 UTC, TC Mahasen was located 53 nm southeastward of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
    -Cyclone ‘Mahasen’ hit Patuakhali coast of Bangladesh with wind speed up to 90 kilometres per hour.

    -As of 12:00 UTC, TS Alvin was located 1130 km SSW of Manzanillo, Mexico.
