  -A tornado touched down near Gerber in Tehama County of California.

• M 5.4 moderate earthquake near the East Coast of Honshu, Japan (@ 46 km depth) with epicenter located 51 km SE of Iwaki. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Hitachi, Kōriyama, Mito, Tokyo and Tsukuba.

• M 6.2 strong deep earthquake in Eastern Russia-N.e. China Border Region (@ 562 km depth) with epicenter located 9 km N of Zarubino. People of Sanjiazi, Yanji, Ch'ongjin, Pokrovka, Mikhaylovka, Lipovtsy, Mudanjiang, Vladivostok, Ussuriysk, Najin, Hyesan-si and Aoji-ri (North Korea) will have weak shaking of MMI III.

• M 5.4 moderate earthquake in Guerrero, Mexico (@ 24 km depth) with epicenter located 12 km WNW of Atoyac de Alvarez. Light to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Acapulco, Acatzingo, Chilapa, El Ocotito, Tecpan, Naucalpan and Mexico City.
