  • Kamchatka (Russia)/Tolbachik volcano eruption
    -Lavas from the Kamchatka Russia volcano Plosky Tolbachik have destroyed two nearby scientific camps.
    -Scientific bases were 10 kilometers away from the Plosky Tolbachik volcano.
    -Schools and kindergartens have cancelled all classes in nearby Kozyrevsk village.
    -Tolbachik volcano is throwing clouds of ash to the height of 3,000 meters with the potential for ash explosions up to 10 km.
    -The 3,085-meter Plosky Tolbachik volcano in Russia's Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula erupted for the first time in 36 years on November 27, 2012.
    -The Plosky Tolbachik volcano has erupted only 10 times since 1740.
    -Tolbachik is a volcanic complex on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of Russia. The most notable eruption on Kamchatka's Tolbachik occurred in 1975, commonly known as "The Great Tolbachik Fissure Eruption". It was the largest historical basaltic eruption in Kamchatka.

    Update
    -Indian seismological center has mentioned earthquake with slight intensity of magnitude 4.1 in West Sikkim.
    -Weak tremor was even felt in Eastern Nepal. 
  • M 4.7 moderate earthquake in Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia (@ 49 km depth) with epicenter located 101 km ESE of Esso. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Yelizovo, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy and Vilyuchinsk.

  • M 3.7 light shallow earthquake in Central California (@ 1 km depth) with epicenter located 10 km ENE from Coso Junction. It will have well felt by the people of Olancha, Cartago and Ridgecrest.

  • M 3.2 weak shallow earthquake in Fyr of Macedonia (@ 6 km depth) with epicenter located just 5 km SW Vraneštica. Weak tremor will have even felt by the people of Kicevo and Skopje.

  • M 4.0 light shallow earthquake in Western Turkey (@ 5 km depth) with epicenter located 25 km E of Ula. Liight to weak shaking will have felt by the people of Mugla, Ortaca and Dalaman.

  • Typhoon Bopha
    -As of 12:00 UTC, Typhoon Bopha was located 605 nm east-southeast of Palau.
    -A typhoon watch is now in effect for Ngulu in Yap state and Koror and Kayangelin in the Republic of Palau and a tropical storm watch is in effect for Yap island in Yap state and Sonsorol in the Republic of Palau.
    -GDACS has issued red alert level for Philippines, Palau.
    -Typhoon Bopha is forecast to strike the Philippines on 4 December.
