-A total of 12.65 inches rainfall received from Beryl in the town of Midway, Florida, about 12 miles west of Tallahassee.
-Heavy rain expected in Outer Banks of North Carolina.
-Following the hurricane center, dangerous rip currents remain possible from northeastern Florida to North Carolina.

Numerous showers with embedded lightning storms moving onto the Nature Coast will venture into central Florida this afternoon. Additional heavy rainfall (1-2 inches) will be possible especially across Lake Volusia, Orange and Seminole counties.

Beryl is located 100 km WNW of Jacksonville Florida and 65 km ESE of Valdosta Georgia. Beryl has already been downgraded to a tropical depression. All coastal tropical storm warnings have been discontinued.

-The National Weather Service had issued a tornado warning for southeastern Duval County and northwestern St. Johns County until 11:15 a.m. which was canceled after some time.
-Flights to Dulles International, Nashville and Charlotte from Jacksonville International Airport was canceled.
-Heavy rainfall reported in Putnam County.
-The Red Cross opened a shelter at 9 a.m. for Lake City residents at Westside Elementary School at 1956 SW County Road 252B, Lake City, FL 32024.

-According to Jacksonville's Mayor Alvin Brown, no bridge or airport closings are planned but if winds reach 40mph, bridges will shut down.
-All outdoor Jacksonville Jazz Festival activities remain canceled.
-Mayor Alvin Brown announced all Memorial Day ceremonies scheduled for Monday are canceled. No information available yet on whether they will be rescheduled to another date.
-Memorial Day ceremonies in St. Augustine at the veterans cemetery there are canceled, as well as the event at VFW Post 23911 according to Glen Tilley of the VFW.
-The Memorial Day remembrance at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery on Lannie Road set for 2pm was also canceled said organizer Joe Covella.
-Garbage,yard waste and recycling collection for Monday has been canceled in Duval county.
-Cumberland Island National Seashore will close to visitation on Sunday, at 4:45 PM in preparation for the storm.
-Entry to Hanna and Huguenot parks will be closed at noon, and visitors will be cleared from the parks.
-All Jax Parks and pools are closed.
-The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port will restrict commercial vessel activity at noon.
-The Jacksonville International Airport is currently operating as normal; however, travelers are encouraged to contact their individual airlines for updates to their travel plans.

Beryl is currently (03:06 UTC) located 345 km se of Charleston South Carolina and 435 km E of Jacksonville Florida.
A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Volusia/Brevard County line Florida to Edisto Beach South Carolina.
On the forecast track the center of Beryl is expected to approach the southeastern coast of the United States on Sunday and then make landfall Sunday night or Monday. dangerous surf conditions are expected along the coast from northeastern Florida to North Carolina over the remainder of the Memorial Day weekend.
Beryl is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 3 to 6 inches along the southeastern coast of the United States from northern Florida through southeastern North Carolina.
The name Beryl has been used for five tropical cyclones and one subtropical cyclone in the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of three names used for five tropical storms with none of them becoming a hurricane; the two others are Ana and Arthur.
Tropical Storm Beryl (1982): It first moved across Atlantic but dissipated north of the Windward Islands. It caused moderate damage and 3 deaths in Cape Verde.
