• Flooding In Australia
  -More than 600 people evacuated from Griffith, North Yenda and Beelbangera and about 1000 from Frobes. In Forbes, Lachlan River is expected to rise to major flood levels of 10.6 metres
  -Residents in Gundagai, east of Wagga Wagga are allowed to return
  -Prime Minister Julia Gillard will visit the flood-ravaged city of Wagga Wagga to assess damage

  -Flood waters in the northern Victorian town of Nathalia forecast to peak overnight
  -Sydney on ALERT with wild weather predicted

• M 4.8 moderate earthquake in Southwestern Siberia, Russia   (@ 13 km depth) with epicenter located 116 km E of Kyzyl. It is the aftershocks of earlier M 6.8 earthquake   in February

• M 5.6 strong Sea quake in South Sandwich Islands   Region (@ 63 km depth) with epicenter located 137 km NNE from Bristol Island. The populated residential area is 3000+ km far from the epicenter
  12:02 UTC (local time Wednesday, March 07, 2012 at 10:02 AM @ epicenter)
• M 5.7 strong earthquake in Papua, Indonesia   (@ 44 km depth) with epicenter located 205 km W of Jayapura. About 3,000 people will have experienced moderate shaking of MMI V. People in Abepura and Jayapura city have felt weak shaking

• M 3.9 very shallow earthquake in Bosnia and Herzegovina   (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 6 km SW Blagaj. It will have well felt by the people of Metkovic and Mostar
  11:42 UTC (local time 12:42; 2012/03/07 @ epicenter)
• M 4.9 moderate shallow earthquake in Western Xizang   (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 188 km NW of Lumaringbo. Just weak shaking will have experienced in nearest populated area Hetian

• M 4.4 shallow earthquake in Central Iran   (@ 10 km depth) with epicenter located 22 km NW Ravar. The populated area Rafsanjan is 150 km far where just weak shaking will have felt

• M 5.3 moderate earthquake in Ryukyu Islands, Japan   (@ 42 km depth) with epicenter located 80 km SW of Naha. Light shaking will have felt as far as Chatan city of Okinawa region.

• M 4.7 moderate earthquake in Panama   (@ 48 km depth) with epicenter located 82 km far from Panama City. Light to weak shaking will have experienced in Panama region

• Kamchatka/Bezymianny Recent Volcanic Activity
  -Current Aviation Color Code: RED
  -Activity of the volcano continuously increases. Strong ash explosions up to 42,640 ft (13 km) is possible at any time. According to Russian Institute of Volcanology and Seismology   (KVERT), ongoing activity could affect international and low-flying aircraft
  
• Alaska/Cleveland Recent Volcanic Activity
  -Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH
  Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE
  -No activity was observed in satellite images of Cleveland Volcano over the past 24 hours. AVO   has received no reports of activity from local observers or passing aircraft
• Hawaii/Kilauea Recent Volcanic Activity
  -Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH
  Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE
  -Past 24 hours activity: Seismic tremor levels were low and generally mimicking the tilt. Four earthquakes were strong enough to be located beneath Kilauea: one beneath Halema`uma`u Crater and three on south flank faults

Recent Flood Update

• Flash flood in Islands of Kauai and Oahu, State of Hawaii
  -A state of disaster declared for Kauai and Oahu
  -Kapaa Temporary Bypass Road between Kuhio Highway and Olohena Road closed
  -Flash flood warning for Kauai and Oahu extended until mid-afternoon
  -Flooding does happen in Hawaii, however, and it is sometimes very destructive

  -Hanalei School remains closed
  -Snow may fall today on Hawaii island summits

• Tropical storm Irina
  -Death toll has risen to 73
  -21,235 people homeless, a total of 67,911 people affected

• Avalanches in Darwaz district, Afghanistan have killed 47 people. Deadly avalanches are common in Afghanistan's mountainous north in winter
