October 13, 2019: An 11 years old boy died after being swept away in the flood water in the Alimosho area of Lagos.  The heavy downpour has left many homes flooded and blocked the drainage in Lekki city in Lagos state of Nigeria today. Recent flooding has also affected the Victoria Island, Ajah, and all the way to Ibeju-Lekki.

October 13, 2019: Magnitude 4.5 earthquake has been felt across Bikaner district and neighbouring areas of Rajasthan at 10:36 am today. According to the India Meteorological Department, the earthquake was centered at a depth of 10 kilometres. Several people came out of their homes and shops as the tremor was felt in the Bikaner region. The tremor was well felt in Bikaner,Nagaur,Churu,Sikar and Hanumangarh area.

Just before Typhoon Hagibis hit Japan,  the sky turned a deep purple (@newscomauHQ/Twitter) October 13, 2019:  The sky turned in deep purple colour in Japan surprising the locals, just before the arrival of Typhoon Hagibis . The social medias have been flooded with the images of the bright purple and pink sky mentioning it as a "strange phenomenon.". However the purple sky isn't uncommon. It has occurred several times in the U.S. following major hurricanes. "The light was scattered around the moisture in the air, causing the magical purple color," CBS News reported quoting meteorologist Lauren Rautenkranz. The typhoon touched down southwest of Tokyo on Saturday. An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 shook the area shortly before the same time as the typhoon was making landfall. October 10, 2019: A magnitude 3.4 earthquake hit near the Alum Rock neighborhood of San Jose early Wednesday morning. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake's epicenter was located 8.5 km (5.3 mi) WSW of Alum Rock, California. The earthquake occurred a depth of 9.3 km. The tremor was well felt in San Jose and Milpitas.

September 24, 2019: Magnitude 5.6 earthquake in Pakistan has claimed lives of  atleast 37 people and caused severe damage in Mirpur district, injuring a further 300. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake's epicenter was located 33 km far from Bhimbar, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10km. The earthquake split open roads in an area between the towns of Jhelum and Mirpur to the north.
