Three days orientation programme on the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) System has been conducted for Suriname's National Coordination Centre for Disaster Management (NCCR) staffs in Lower Estate, Barbados. This disaster management training programme was conducted to increase the understanding of the Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) Strategy and Framework and the CDEMA CU approach to supporting national level programming for CDM implementation.
