Mudslide triggered by heavy rainfall has injured two people and blocked the main Hasroun-Bsharri road in north Lebanon. Civil Defense workers rescued an elderly woman after her bedroom was flooded. Flood waters also washed away a number of vehicles along the Hasroun-Bsharri road, The Daily Star reported.

Snowstorm in Lebanon has claimed lives of two Syrian man and a young boy, bringing misery to thousands of Syrian refugees. The bodies of the two Syrians refugees have been found in the Shebaa region of south Lebanon who were crossing the mountainous border between Syria and Lebanon,, Times of Oman has written quoting the local Red Cross agency. The National News Agency later reported that a third member of the group had also died, without identifying them, The Daily Star Lebanon has mentioned.

A forest fire in Lebanon prompted a nearby school to evacuate students injuring a firefighter, The Daily Star reported. Forest fire hit the southern Sidon town of Maghdouche causing the evacuation of students and teachers at the nearby Al-Aila School. One rescue soldier was injured. The Army along with a helicopter have been dispatched to the area. In August 2013, forest fire affected al-Bira and Sendyaneh areas of Lebanon . Firefighters are battling forest fire in Lebanon, The Daily Star reported. Fire is burning on a hill between the villages of al-Bira and Sendyaneh.
