Very severe cyclonic storm ‘NILOFAR’ targets Kutch, Gujarat

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cyclone alert for north Gujarat coast of India following a very severe cyclonic storm 'Nilofar'. Cyclone Nilofar was located about 1120 km south west of Naliya (Gujarat), 1170 km south - southwest of Karachi (Pakistan) and 840 km east -southeast of Salalah (Oman) at 02:30 IST, 28th October 2014.
