Forest fire in Gulmi, Nepal

Update 2013/04/13 -New fire has erupted again in Resunga forest of Gulmi. -As of 13:00 UTC, fire has burned 1800 hectares. Update Finally the fire in Resunga jungles of Gulmi is under control. Around 500 security personnel from Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force with the help of local took forest fire in control. A fire has broke out in Resunga forest in Gulmi district of Nepal. It is currently burning in Nunamare, Paralmi and Dhago Danda area of Resunga forest, The Himalayan Times mentions. Forest fire in Gulmi has already burned 800 hectares.  The Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has called Tamghas market banda to bring forest fire under control. Gulmi district has no fire engines to control the fire. Firefighters fighting forest fire east of Martinborough, New Zealand

Update Six helicopters and fireman now fighting forest fire in Wairarapa area. Firefighters with the help of five helicopters are fighting a forest fire east of Martinborough, New Zealand. Five helicopters and seven crews from Martinborough, Featherston, Upper Hutt, Wellington and rural fire parties are working to extinguish the forest fire. Fire was first reported at 5:50 am near Hinakura, between Martinborough and the coast. Fire has burned 30-hectare pine forest east of Martinborough, New Zealand. Firefighters fighting fire in China forest

A forest fire broke out in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regio n of SW China. Firefighters are currently fighting fire in Wuzhou city of China. Detail news yet to come. Looking previous Forest fire statistics, around 14,700 forest fire occurs in China every year. Forest fire in east China in 2011 killed 9 including seven firefighters. Forest fire in South Korea kills 1

Forest fire in South Korea has killed one and injured 14 others. Natural disaster occurred in Pohang region of South Korea.  Forest fire in Pohang has killed one Korean and injured 14 others. Fire destroyed about 53 houses. Fire has burned five hectares of residential areas. More than 2,000 firefighters, soldiers and rescue employees are struggling to control the blaze. Following National Rescue Services, fire displaced more than a hundred people. Another forest fire in Ulsan, southeast of Seoul has injured three people. China forest fire information: Red alert issued

China has issued a Red Alert for the forest fire in coming two days. More forest fire information will be added as it is available. China has issued a RED ALERT   for the forest fire . Beijing authorities have warned the North China residents to prepare for forest fire in coming two days. China weather officials expect less precipitation in Beijing for coming two days. There is high risk of forest fire. Following China weather authorities, the highest temperature in Beijing was 22.1 C on Friday. A dust storm is also expected to hit Beijing this weekend.
