Torrential rainfall has caused flash floods in Central Trinidad. Flood caused damage to the houses in Cacandee Road and Lyle Lane in Felicity, Trinidad Express reported. The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has advised people not to run behind the rumors of tropical storm approaching Trinidad and Tobago. On a media release on April 29, 2013 at 10:00 p.m, T&T Meteorological Service has officially claimed this. T&T Meteorological Service notice says that RUMOURS circulating about a tropical storm approaching Trinidad and Tobago are NOT true. The Met Office has also urged to ignore bbm/textmessages that may be circulating. The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has discontinued the flood alert in their latest bulletin at 6:00 pm.
